Business Systems Manager

We are partnered with an organization seeking a hands-on Business Systems Manager to own and evolve their corporate business systems landscape. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining business systems strategy with hands-on project execution. The successful candidate will lead key technology initiatives, including an ERP implementation to replace QuickBooks, data centralization efforts, and ongoing optimization of business applications that support Finance and the broader organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner for the organization's corporate business systems and applications.
• \n
• Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of a new ERP platform as part of the migration from QuickBooks.
• \n
• Drive enterprise-wide business systems initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
• \n
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
• \n
• Lead data centralization initiatives, creating a more integrated and scalable data environment for reporting and decision-making.
• \n
• Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party consulting firms, overseeing project delivery and ongoing support.
• \n
• Support and optimize Microsoft 365 technologies, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
• \n
• Coordinate integrations between ERP, BI, and other business applications to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• \n
• Partner with business leaders to define system requirements, prioritize enhancements, and develop technology roadmaps.
• \n
• Manage application upgrades, system maintenance, user support, and vendor performance.
• \n
• Create and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and technology standards.
• \n
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for corporate systems and provide guidance to end users across the organization.

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• 5+ years of experience managing corporate or business systems in a growing organization.
• \n
• Experience leading ERP implementation or migration projects, preferably replacing QuickBooks with a more scalable ERP solution.
• \n
• Strong project management experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
• \n
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, Oracle, SAP Business One, or similar solutions.
• \n
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• \n
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams and SharePoint.
• \n
• Proven ability to manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and consultants.
• \n
• Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor while managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• \n
• Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
• \n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
