Business Unit Manager (BUM)

Job Summary
The Business Unit Manager (BUM) is accountable for Mason Business Unit results, including P&L, Bookings, Sales, EBITDA, annual plan execution, and year-over-year value growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, this forward, customer-facing role focuses on customer relations, Business Unit Bookings, contract review and negotiations, value-based pricing and new business development. The scope includes leadership of a cross-functional Business Unit Team (Sales, Operations, Engineering and Quality) and serves as a key development role for future senior management positions.

Education, Experience & Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor''s degree required; technical degree preferred. MBA preferred. Five or more years of progressive experience in Sales, Operations, Finance and/or Engineering required; aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing experience preferred. Experience leading direct reports and/or cross-functional teams preferred.
Must be a self-starter who excels in an entrepreneurial ownership culture. Results-oriented, data-driven and action-biased, with strong business acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, open and honest communication, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple programs to maximize value creation. Leads by example, drives short- and long-term performance and builds a team with high accountability.
Pay Range is $110,000 to $140,000 per annum
