We are seeking an experienced Building Envelope Business Unit Manager to lead and grow our Building Envelope practice in Kennesaw, Georgia, providing consulting services throughout the Southeast. This role is responsible for overall leadership, technical oversight, staff development, quality control, financial performance, and client relationship management, while supporting business development and market expansion. The successful candidate will balance technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to high standards. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, establishing QA/QC standards, reviewing technical reports, providing expert consultation on building envelope systems, coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts, managing budgets and resources, and identifying opportunities for service and geographic growth. The role requires 10+ years of experience in building envelope, enclosure, or roofing consulting, strong technical knowledge of construction and enclosure systems, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver"s license.



The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in building envelope, enclosure, or roofing consulting, with strong technical knowledge of building construction and enclosure systems, and a proven ability to identify and resolve constructability, integration, design, troubleshooting, durability, thermal performance, and moisture-related issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong report-writing capability, and a valid driver"s license with a clean record are required. Preferred qualifications include a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license, as well as industry certifications such as Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), and Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT).
