BusserThe engine behind smooth service. You keep the floor moving so guests never have to wait. POSITION OVERVIEW Bussers are an essential part of how Tupelo Grille operates at a high level. You support servers, maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining room, and ensure tables are turned efficiently and with care. This is a role that requires physical stamina, situational awareness, and a genuine commitment to the team. It is also an excellent entry point for anyone interested in building a career in hospitality. Reports to: Server / Shift Supervisor / General Manager CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Clear and reset tables promptly between guests, following Tupelo's table set standards
- Deliver bread, water, and other table items as directed by servers
- Assist servers with running food when needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining room throughout service — sweep, wipe, and reset as needed
- Support servers with pre-bussing during the meal to maintain clear, comfortable tables
- Stock server stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift
- Assist with opening and closing sidework as assigned
- Communicate table status and floor needs to the host and manager
QUALIFICATIONS - No prior experience required — we will train the right person
- Able to carry trays and bus tubs, lift up to 40 lbs, and stay on your feet for a full shift
- Punctual, reliable, and a true team player
- Basic English communication skills required
