Welcome to The Rustic

The Rustic is coming to Grandscape in The Colony, and we're building our opening team. Born in Uptown Dallas, The Rustic is a Texas original where live music, wood-grilled food, and ice-cold Texas beer come together under one roof. Guests come for local musicians every night, hand-crafted American favorites like The Rustic Burger and Texas Hot Chicken, premium cocktails, daily happy hour, and family-friendly weekend brunch. Whether it's a night out with friends, a birthday, or a lazy Sunday brunch, The Rustic brings together good food, good music, and good people.

The Role

Our bussers keep the whole floor moving. You'll support our servers, set and reset tables, and keep the dining room, patio, and bar areas looking sharp from open to close. As part of the opening team, you'll train with us from day one and help set the tone for a brand-new location. If you like staying busy, work well with a team, and want to kick-start your career in hospitality, you'll play a key role in Creating Remarkable Memories for our guests.

Compensation: hourly wage plus tip share.

What You'll Do

•Prepare dining areas, indoors and on the patio, before guests are seated

•Set tables with tableware and condiments

•Clear plates, glassware, and utensils throughout service and replenish as needed

•Clean and reset tables quickly after guests leave, especially during live shows and busy weekends

•Support servers and food runners to keep service smooth

•Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas

What We're Looking For

•Experience as a busser, food runner, or other entry-level restaurant role is a plus

•Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules

•Ability to multitask and stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

•Positive attitude and a genuine team mindset

•TABC Seller-Server Certification and Texas Food Handler Certification

Physical Requirements

•Ability to stand and walk for full shifts, including patio service

•Ability to lift and carry bus tubs and trays up to [25] lbs

•Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and brunch shifts
