ReconCraft, a leading manufacturer of specialized marine vessels, is seeking a Buyer to join our procurement team in Clackamas, Oregan. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing components, materials, and parts necessary for the production of our high-performance vessels. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and experience in marine or industrial manufacturing environments.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Required Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in marine or industrial manufacturing
Familiarity with marine parts, components, and suppliers is highly desirable
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
Office-based role with occasional visits to the production floor or suppliers' facilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
Position Pay Range
$60,000—$65,000 USD
