Buyer - Coppell, TX - Contract - $18-28 per HR
This role involves a dynamic procurement environment requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. Located in a regional office, this is a full-time contract position focused on optimizing procurement processes and managing supplier relationships. The role demands proficiency in generic procurement software and advanced data analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.
- Integrate and manage procurement tools to ensure seamless operations.
- Streamline procurement processes and identify opportunities for automation.
- Oversee supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of purchase orders and inventory management.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of procurement or supply chain management experience required.
- Strong understanding of procurement operations and supply chain management principles.
- Proficient in advanced spreadsheet tools, including data visualization and formula development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and data management tools.
