This role is an excellent fit for a purchasing professional with experience in electronics manufacturing, responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing electronic components and PCBs, and driving material planning through MRP/ERP systems. Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned commodities and supplier relationships.
• Plan and procure materials using MRP/ERP systems.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support NPI launches and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Resolve supplier, quality, and material discrepancies.
• Drive inventory optimization and alternate sourcing strategies.
• Monitor purchasing metrics and maintain accurate reporting.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

• 8+ years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS.
• Experience sourcing electronic components and PCBs/bare boards.
• Strong background with MRP/ERP systems (Syteline preferred).
• Skilled in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
• Bachelor's degree required; APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
