Job Description
Manage the procurement of goods and services to meet production and operational requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the organization. Monitor market trends and assess supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs. Analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency. Generate and present procurement reports to support decision-making processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer III should have: Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management, particularly in the Technology & Telecoms industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to establish and maintain supplier partnerships. Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in procurement software and tools to streamline processes.
