• Pay / Salary: $75,000 $95,000 / Year (USD), depending on experience

Job Summary

Our client has been a leading name in American firearms manufacturing for more than 50 years and is widely respected for its reputation for quality and excellence. With a diverse portfolio of products serving hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts, the company continues to deliver innovative solutions to a loyal customer base. The company is seeking a strategic Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys negotiating, solving supply chain challenges, and building supplier relationships. The core responsibilities of this role will be ensuring manufacturing operations have the materials, components, and services needed to build world-class firearms. The Buyer will be a key role in helping build out the strategic side of procurement. The ideal candidate will have experience developing strategy around category management. Any experience managing RFPs, bidding, and identifying cost savings is highly preferred.

Required Experience

• 3 years of experience working as a buyer, category manager, or in procurement
• Experience purchasing manufactured components, metals, tooling, or industrial products

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience in firearms, aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
• Experience managing RFPs, bidding, and identifying cost savings

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• APICS/ASCM ISM, or other procurement certifications are a plus

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
