Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

• Safety is our number one priority. This role will promote safety culture through participation in the weekly safety toolbox talks.

• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers

• Identify new sources of supply to develop supply chain competition
• Improve existing supplier's performance
• Work with Planning on demand requirements and lead time expectations
• Work with Sales and Customer Service to ensure costs are competitive with our market competition
• Negotiate costs with suppliers utilizing available market information
• Identify and complete cost saving projects
• Ensure timely delivery through supply and carrier follow-ups

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts
• Comfortable with ERP System
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

Years of Experience Required:2-4 years of experience in the field or related area

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

Certifications: CPIM Preferred

REQUIREMENTS (Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands):

Ability to work on a PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the work day.
