FieldBridge is looking for a Buyer in Houston, TX to work for a global energy technology company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay is $35–$40/hour | Remote Mondays and Fridays, in office Tuesday to Thursday | Weekly pay every Friday | Earn ~$1,925–$2,200/week (~$100K–$114K/year) at 50hrs with OT

Position Overview

FieldBridge is sourcing an experienced Buyer to support procurement operations at a services and repair facility in North Houston. This role manages the full purchase order lifecycle within Oracle, coordinates directly with suppliers on expediting and compliance, and provides production and planning teams with accurate PO and parts status. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Oracle buyer experience and a strong track record in fast-paced, service-oriented procurement environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and validate Purchase Orders and requisitions (PORs) in Oracle, navigating multiple modules to review PO history, inventory, and supply/demand data
  • Manage Blanket Purchase Orders with approximately 5 core suppliers, handling releases, expediting, and payment follow-up
  • Support farm-out and repair activities with approximately 20 suppliers across short procurement cycles
  • Communicate with suppliers via email and Microsoft Teams to issue RFQs, expedite materials, and clarify requirements
  • Prepare PO and part status reports outside of Oracle (primarily Excel) to support production planning meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL experience on the buyer side — must be able to navigate multiple modules, not just exposure
  • SAP or comparable modern ERP accepted only if candidate can clearly articulate buyer-side workflows and navigation logic; legacy systems or light ERP exposure not sufficient
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of sourcing experience
  • Background in MRO, repair/overhaul, or service-based procurement strongly preferred
  • Oil & gas, aero-derivative, or turbomachinery services experience is a plus but not required
