JAG Mobile Solutions, a global manufacturer of specialty commercial trailers, is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Buyer to join our team in Fremont, IN. Our mobile restroom, shower, and bunkhouse units support major events, military training operations, and critical needs around the world, with products distributed in 19 countries across four continents.

As a Buyer, you will play an important role in supporting purchasing, inventory planning, vendor communication, and supply chain coordination. Reporting to the Corporate Supply Chain Director, this position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and ready to help improve processes while keeping materials, parts, and production schedules moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute procurement of finished goods and raw materials from approved manufacturers and suppliers
• Maintain strong working relationships and communication directly with the vendors/suppliers and inter-company personnel to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
• Proactively report product and material availability issues, such as damage materials and process return to vendor and/or freight claims
• Assist existing customers with their parts requirements
• Inventory management: reporting inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, inventory target, and goal measurements
• Maintain status of purchase orders and shipment tracking information, follow-up on back orders, close PO’s, order adjustments, and update unit price
• Proactively provide supply status and shipment tracking to procurement and production team.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, return of materials, and inter-company personnel by providing the required shipping documents
• Participate and contribute to monthly purchasing guidelines and inventory targets
• Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials and parts in conjunction with the production schedule and sales delivery dates
• Participate in and coordinate the physical inventory yearly
• Complete special projects and administrative duties as requested
• Support all other duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years Purchasing or Supply Chain Management experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills
• Solid interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Sage/ERP/MRP experience highly desired
• Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
• Flexible work schedule
