Piper Companies is seeking a Buyer to support supply chain operations for a leading healthcare/medical device organization in the King of Prussia, PA area. The Buyer role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while developing core procurement and supplier management skills.
Responsibilities of the Buyer:
- Review purchase requisitions and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to drive On-Time-In-Full delivery
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely placement and issue resolution
- Communicate with suppliers on production schedules, order status, and delivery timelines
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues including delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams
- Support inventory optimization, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications of the Buyer:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (required)
- 1+ year of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience OR relevant internship experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis fundamentals
Compensation for the Buyer includes:
- Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 (Depending on Experience)
