Salary $75,000–$85,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to Mississippi

Are you an experienced Buyer who knows how to keep materials moving, suppliers accountable, and production schedules on track? Join a well-established global manufacturer where your purchasing decisions will directly support daily plant operations.

As the Buyer, you will manage component and material requirements, maintain inventory levels, and develop strong supplier relationships. You’ll use SAP and MRP data to anticipate demand, place orders, resolve scheduling issues, and ensure on-time delivery. A bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field and experience with SAP are huge pluses!

What you’ll do as the Buyer:

·Manage purchasing, material requirements planning, and supplier relationships.

·Develop material strategies that support customer needs and production goals.

·Maintain inventory levels aligned with production schedules.

·Analyze current and future material requirements through MRP.

·Prepare purchase requisitions and orders for approved suppliers.

·Confirm pricing, quantities, specifications, due dates, and shipping details.

·Collaborate with suppliers, corporate purchasing, and internal teams to resolve delivery and scheduling issues.

·Use SAP MRP to support customers, suppliers, and intercompany part transfers.

What you’ll need to be considered for this Buyer position:

·At least 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

·Experience working with MRP systems – prefer SAP.

·Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.

·Excellent supplier communication and relationship-management abilities.
