The role is for a Buyer in a contract manufacturing environment, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
Responsibilities include reviewing and processing purchase requisitions, managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring accurate and timely purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies related to receiving and accounts payable.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years of Buyer experience in NPI contract manufacturing, particularly in electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, ERP (preferably SAP), and organizational skills are essential. The position offers a starting salary of $85k DOE, with a focus on integrity, confidentiality, and effective communication.
