Buyer (On-Site)

Job Summary:\n \nResponsible for procurement execution and supplier development and management, ensuring the timely supply of required materials, equipment, and services, and effectively controlling costs.\n \nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\n\n Responsible for preparing, placing, and tracking purchase orders in strict accordance with procurement procedures to ensure timely supply.\n Ensure that purchased materials meet company quality standards and production requirements.\n Conduct market research on material quality, pricing, and supply trends, and collect and manage relevant data.\n Handle settlement, returns, and claims related to materials or services.\n Identify new supplier resources, assist in supplier evaluation and selection, and establish efficient communication channels.\n Analyze cost structures, participate in price negotiations, execute contracts, and control procurement costs.\n Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.\n \nWork Experience/Education/Skills Requirements:\n\n Bachelors degree in industrial engineering (IE), Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields preferred\n Proficiency in both English and Chinese preferred\n CPPM preferred\n At least 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.\n Familiar with manufacturing procurement processes; strong business communication and negotiation skills.\n Strong coordination and communication skills; able to collaborate across internal and external departments.\n Strong learning ability; able to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge.\n Strong information collection and analytical skills; able to identify key issues.\n Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure; honest and trustworthy.\n Good professional ethics and strong awareness of confidentiality\n \nPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:\n\n Work is primarily performed in an office environment.\n Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.\n Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.\n* Traveling to customer sites and events (traveling up to 25%).\n \nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The Company will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa, including without limitation, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 job portability or similar immigration processes.\n \nEqual Employment Opportunity:\n \nVoltage is an equal opportunity employer.
