Description:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to support a growing parts business within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are available, orders are fulfilled on time, and internal stakeholders are aligned to meet customer needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and allocate materials from production lines to support spare parts orders
  • Monitor and maintain safety stock levels to ensure product availability
  • Coordinate and negotiate with internal teams to prioritize material needs
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites in Canada and Mexico (Spanish a plus)
  • Handle a mix of emails, calls, and virtual meetings (MS Teams) to drive results
  • Support procurement activities as needed (5–10% of role)
  • Enter and manage purchase orders, work orders, and scheduling updates

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or planning role (flexible for strong junior candidates)
  • Experience with SAP and order/material planning preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, outgoing personality—someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and get things done
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or technical training is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
