Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) and strong understanding of MRP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred)
Strong negotiation and analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination abilities
APICS or CPIM certification is a plus

For the Buyer/Planner position your duties will include:
Procure materials, components, equipment, supplies, and services to support operational requirements
Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services, employing techniques such as JIT, Kanban, Blanket POs, and Reschedules
Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels
Develop, implement, and support sourcing and supplier management initiatives
Maintain accurate data in the MRP/ERP system
Track and manage key performance metrics
Support Lean and EHS activities and initiatives
Other tasks as assigned
