The Buyer is responsible for purchasing direct and indirect materials, ingredients, and services needed to support business operations. This role converts procurement plans and internal requests into purchase orders, manages supplier relationships, monitors deliveries, and resolves supply issues to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience
2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying roles.
Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve order or supply issues.
Background in supply chain, operations, procurement, or related business functions.
Education
Degree or formal training in:
Supply Chain Management
Operations
Business
Related field
Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage purchase orders based on procurement plans and business requests.
Track supplier deliveries and ensure continuous supply of materials.
Identify, resolve, and escalate supply chain disruptions.
Maintain purchasing data and transactions in systems such as SAP and Ivalua.
Support product phase-in/phase-out activities.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Coordinate marketing material purchases with commercial teams and procurement partners.
Provide weekly reporting on purchase order status, risks, and mitigation actions.
Required Skills

Ability to interpret data and identify trends or potential supply risks.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
