Buyer/Procurement Analyst

Location: On-Site at any Distribution Center Office

Role Summary

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations? Join Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. | NTPStag as a Buyer / Procurement Specialist. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for diverse procurement and vendor-related responsibilities, encompassing purchase order placement, inventory adjustments, quality enhancements, service level oversight, procurement process management, and the optimization of vendor partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with contracts and participate in contract improvement as it relates to the buying processes.
  • Review vendor-provided order acknowledgements for accuracy of information (including item description, delivery lead times, order quantities, expected pricing, etc.)
  • Assist in the resolution of overages/shortages at time of receipt and billing issues as needed
  • Partner with all cross-functional departments to manage product movement to optimize stocking strategies
  • Ensure timely flow of material by the due date
  • Monitor and follow up on supplier backorders, shipments, and track source products
  • Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Assume other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of procurement or related experience.
  • College coursework preferred
  • Automotive industry background

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Able to use Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Able to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
  • Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
