Title: Buyer Location: Rockwall, TX (Onsite 5 days a week) Duration: Full-Time Compensation: $90 - $115k Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Skillset / Experience:
Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned to production and business needs
Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisions
Perform cost modeling, scenario analysis, and benchmarking to drive efficiencies
Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance to ensure alignment on requirements and timelines
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock and avoid disruptions
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improve overall effectiveness
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred
3–5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
Experience with sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
Nice-to-Have Experience & Traits
Experience working with Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems
Experience with private sourcing and identifying new supplier channels
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and modeling
Technical aptitude and comfort working with product specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes
A proactive mindset with a strong appetite to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Enthusiasm for the manufacturing industry and interest in how products are built and scaled
Collaborative, team-first mentality with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Ability to operate both tactically and strategically depending on business needs
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
On-site in Rockwall, TX, 5 days per week
Combination of office and manufacturing floor exposure
Regular use of computer and phone; occasional lifting up to 30–50 lbs
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions as needed
