The Buyer is responsible for providing direction in support of a customer service-focused, cost effective, and centralized process for the acquisitions and delivery of supplies and services to support patients, clinical staff, and department personnel for PIH Health Enterprise. Administer and direct programs to purchase materiel and supplies relative to Enterprise needs in accordance with policy 84000.700.

Required Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 to 5 years purchasing experience in an acute care health facility
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must obtain LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH Only)
