Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a C3BM Principal Systems Engineer who will work as part of the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts to include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs. This Engineer will provide subject matter expertise to the Missile Defense Agency on the TEAM Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.     

Responsibilities

  • Participate in systems and software engineering meetings, presenting product development updates, providing technical analysis and failure review summaries, and making actionable recommendations 
  • Provide direct support to the lead for C2BMC algorithm development efforts
  • Lead tasking and provide technical systems analysis of Sensor Resource Management/Battle Management (SRM/BM) for C2BMC 
  • Provide daily support to C2BMC Spiral and Agile Development and the C2BMC Product Integration Team (PIT) in all system-level performance assessment, verification, and validation activities associated with C2BMC mission application development 
  • Represent MDA/BC in product peer reviews, system design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR), and prime contractor Agile Development workflow meetings as required to support C2BMC development, integration, test, and operations 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in STEM
  • 12+ years of relevant experience supporting Missile Defense Agency or another large DoD customer
  • Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, subcontractor, and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment 
  • Familiar with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in system engineering and execution processes 
  • Able to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations
