We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent CAAS Senior for our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for problem-solving and strategic thinking. The Permanent CAAS Senior will work closely with various teams to ensure the financial health and profitability of the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
2. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify potential areas of improvement and develop strategic solutions.
3. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
4. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
5. Collaborate with external auditors to conduct annual audits.
6. Implement and maintain internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
7. Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure the company's accounting policies and procedures remain current.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting is mandatory.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
5. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Proactive problem solver who can make sound decisions using good judgment.
