We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Builder / Installer to join our team. This position requires a skilled individual who can efficiently build custom cabinetry in a shop environment and also perform high-quality installations at commercial job sites. Projects primarily consist of commercial tenant improvements, so attention to detail and professionalism are critical.
Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinets and millwork according to shop drawings and specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently (table saw, edgebander, CNC, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements
- Install cabinetry, millwork, and related components on job sites
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment (shop and job site)
Requirements / Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cabinet building and installation
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings and construction documents
- Experience with laminate, veneer, and hardwood cabinetry
- Familiarity with commercial construction environments preferred
- Ability to take accurate field measurements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on job sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machinery and programming
- Understanding of commercial installation standards and practices
- Basic knowledge of electrical/plumbing coordination as it relates to cabinetry
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime based on project demands
