A Level 3 cabinet maker has met all expectations of a cabinet assembler, has the capacity, drive, and passion to advance. A level 2 cabinet maker will be responsible for fabricating more complex components and architectural elements. They will add to all level 2 tasks and will have a full understanding of the total process. They will also begin to mentor junior employees and be proactive in their growth.
Expectations|
- Ability to create custom (non-production) components from scratch using a combination of shop drawings, architectural plans, and miscellaneous sketches.
- Ability to perform material take-offs
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of woodworking methods and materials.
- Understand geometry (angles and radii)
- Complex laminating and veneer skills.
- Clear understanding of all hardware and fasteners.
- Ability to identify and correct any construction process mistakes or drawing errors.
- Ability to select material for the best finished product.
- Highly organized

- Basic understanding of CNC code, how to write it and how to identify errors.
