Job Summary
Mint Hill Cabinets has been providing the Charlotte area with high quality custom cabinetry since 1961. We are seeking a Custom Cabinet Designer/Engineer to create plan, elevation, isometric, and assembly drawings using Cabinet Vision 2025 design software.


Responsibilities


  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Meet with builders, interior designers, and homeowners in showroom
  • Perform field measurements
  • Create submittal drawings for client approval
  • Create assembly drawings for shop construction
  • Create bills of material
  • Purchase all non-inventory materials
Requirements


  • Extensive experience as a Cabinetmaker in a custom cabinet shop OR as a Cabinet Designer/Engineer using 3D software
  • Working understanding of custom cabinet parts, construction, and installation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize 3D components
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, strong ownership, high integrity, team-oriented, with passion for excellence
  • Experience with Cabinet Vision and Microsoft Office
Schedule


  • Monday to Thursday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 6:30 to 12:00 pm (noon)
Location


  • In person at 5519 Cannon Drive, Monroe, NC (Indian Trail town limits)
