Let your career thrive with VOLTVolt is immediately hiring for Soldering Assembler in Dallas TX.Climate Controlled Weekly Pay Great Company CultureThe Assembler Soldering position prepares and solders connectors splices sockets for the molding process per defined policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs hand soldering using a soldering iron. Follows detailed production drawings sample assemblies and verbal instructions with some supervision. Understands and applies established acceptable workmanship practices to all facets of mechanical assembly. Interprets and works from drawings work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly. Works on assembled components requiring manual dexterity and the ability to work with simple hand tools soldering equipment. Uses a variety of hand and power tools to perform skilled fitting and assembly work. Inspect parts for quality and performs basic testing. Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. Follows safety procedures in the use and handling of flammable and hazardous chemicals required to meet all cleanliness specifications. Must be able to follow specific procedures and detailed instructions completely. Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the assembly process.This is a full-timeTemp-to-Hireopportunity.The ideal candidate will have Minimum High School diplomaGED or equivalent combination or education and work experience. 2 years electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment including the reading and interpretation of detailed electronic drawings schematics and work instructions. Experience with wire and cable soldering highly preferred. Must have prior hand soldering experience completion of J-STD 001 and IPC 620 certification preferred. Must be willing to receive and provide cross training in all assemblies. Good work ethic and reliability consistently at work and on time. Availability for overtime Monday through Saturday when required.Schedule 1st ShiftMonday to Friday 6am-245pmPay Rate 23-26per hour.
