Were looking for a detail-oriented Cable Assembler to join our production team. In this role, youll build and assemble cable and wire harnesses used in a variety of products and systems. What Youll Do
- Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and connectors according to drawings and specifications
- Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires using hand tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform continuity testing and basic electrical checks
- Maintain organized workstations and follow 5S practices
- Track production and complete required documentation
- Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
What Were Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and diagrams
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Preferred:
- Previous cable assembly, electronics assembly, or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with crimping tools, soldering, and wire preparation techniques
- Ability to read wiring schematics or technical drawings
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or similar (a plus)
Work Environment & Schedule
- Clean, organized production or manufacturing environment
- Repetitive hand motions and fine motor work required
- Use of small tools and equipment
- Shift work, including overtime or weekends, may be required
