Location: South Tucson
Terms: Temp to hire
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm or Friday, Saturday, & Sunday(weekend shift) 6:00AM-6:30PM
Salary/rate: $17.50-20.50 an hour
Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in electrical or cable assembly.

Job Description:

The assembler is responsible for assembling and inspecting electrical components to ensure the highest quality product is built for our customers. This role will be responsible for operations related to the final assembly build. Will maintain equipment and area cleanliness. Interfaces and works with safety, quality, and manufacturing personnel in identifying and implementing process improvements and process validations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assembles Power Distribution Units (PDU), and other electrical components to company specifications.
  • Assembles cables, harnesses, electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment to engineering specifications.
  • Replaces and removes electrical components on PDU when needed.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures as needed.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Familiar and comfortable with soldering, crimping, and assembling cables and connectors.
  • Ability to read engineering schematic and build product that matches the schematic.
  • Good coordination, motor skills and dexterity.
  • Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions when performing job duties.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be a team player
