Cable Harness and Soldering Assembler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Cable Harness and Soldering Assembler in Oldsmar, Florida for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports cable harness assembly and soldering operations in a quality-driven manufacturing environment. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read engineering documentation, and hands-on experience building cable assemblies to IPC standards.

Required Skills

• High mechanical aptitude
• Experience stripping, crimping, and assembling copper and coaxial wires
• Experience performing soldering operations
• Experience building complete cable harnesses
• Ability to follow documented procedures
• Ability to interpret engineering prints and schematics
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Blueprint reading experience
• Electro-mechanical experience
• Experience with electro-mechanical sensors and actuators
• IPC-WHMA-A-620 experience

What You’ll Do

• Strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coaxial wires
• Perform soldering operations in support of cable and harness assembly
• Build complete cable harnesses in accordance with documented procedures
• Read and interpret engineering prints and schematics
• Support electro-mechanical assembly activities as needed
• Ensure work meets IPC 610 and IPC 620 quality standards
• Maintain accuracy and quality throughout assembly operations

Pay

• $18.00 - $25.00/hour
