    Why this role

    You’ll be the go‑to expert turning engineering intent into dependable cable kits and wire harnesses used in rolling stock propulsion. Your work ensures every unit meets customer specs and Siemens quality benchmarks.

    Hours: 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    What you will do

    • Interpret and act on: schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, specs, BOMs, work orders, and reports.
    • Assemble: position, align, fit, and secure components and sub‑assemblies using hand/power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes.
    • Measure: verify tolerances, clearances, and dimensions with precision tools (such as calipers).
    • Inspect: detect surface defects and nonconformances; uphold Siemens quality standards.
    • Maintain: keep work areas organized; manage tools and inventory responsibly.

    Additional duties may be assigned to support evolving business priorities.

    What we’re looking for

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Assembly experience with the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams.
    • Background building wire harnesses and cable kits.
    • Effective English communication; thrives in a team setting.
    • Comfort lifting up to 35 pounds.
    • Fast learner with strong safety habits and safe operation of equipment.
    • Proficiency: experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Eligibility

    Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

    Sign-on bonus
