JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift:2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Mon–Thurs)
Overtime: Weekend OT Available

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Inspect cable assemblies using established methods, specifications, and quality requirements.
Perform inspections using precision measuring tools, including:
Dial indicators
Micrometers
Scales
Accept, reject, or recommend rework for non-conforming products.
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, parts lists, and work instructions.
Perform soldered and crimp inspections in accordance with IPC-A-620 standards.
Monitor product quality using statistical process controls and inspection procedures.
Communicate with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and management to resolve quality concerns.
Support assembly-related tasks within assigned inspection areas as needed.
Requirements:
Strong experience in cable manufacturing and cable inspection.
Experience with soldered and crimp inspections using IPC-A-620 standards.
Ability to interpret:
Technical drawings
Diagrams
Parts lists
IPC manuals
Work instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with PCs and computer applications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to read and write English.
No degree required.
Must successfully pass a medical screening exam.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
