Cable QA / Documentation Technician (DCIM Documentation & QA Coordinator)

Overview

We're seeking a Cable QA/Documentation Technician to own quality assurance and documentation for a large-scale data center cabling installation. This role is critical to preventing "installed but not accepted" bottlenecks by keeping documentation and QA in sync with the installation schedule.

Responsibilities:

•             Own and maintain DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) documentation using client-provided templates
•             Track documentation phase/milestone completion in parallel with physical installation
•             Perform quality assurance checks on completed cable installations before acceptance
•             Identify and flag "installed but not accepted" gaps before they become schedule bottlenecks
•             Coordinate with the site lead and cable technicians to verify work meets documentation and QA standards
•             Report project and QA status to direct management on-site

  Qualifications:

•             Experience with DCIM tools/platforms and structured cabling documentation
•             Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
•             Ability to work cross-functionally with installation crews and project management
•             Experience in data center or telecom cabling QA is strongly preferred
• Organized, process-driven approach to tracking documentation against milestones
