\nRole Description This is a full-time, on-site Cable Technician role based in Midland, TX. The Cable Technician will work and inspect cable for installation. Day-to-day tasks include working and building cables, using hand tools to assemble and secure cabling components, and performing basic electrical checks to ensure a quality product. The role involves troubleshooting cable and connection issues in the shop, following safety protocols, and documenting work performed. The Cable Technician will collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to support efficient, high-quality service for customers.

- Basic understanding of electricity and electrical safety, including performing simple tests and recognizing potential hazards.

- Proficiency with common hand tools for cutting, crimping, fastening, and securing cables and related hardware.
- \n
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical, cabling, or industrial maintenance is beneficial.
- \n
- Previous field, industrial, or oil and gas experience is preferred but not required.
- \n
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments, lift moderate weights, and follow safety procedures consistently.
- \n
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- \n
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Midland, TX worksite and field locations as needed.
