What a Typical Day Looks Like
7:30 AM — You review work instructions and safety guidelines, then set up test fixtures. Cables are connected to continuity/functional testers, and you verify performance and signal integrity.
Mid-morning — You perform visual checks and basic inspections, flagging any defects. When needed, you pitch in with assembly or simple repairs and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot cable-related production issues.
Afternoon — You log test data in our computer systems with precision, maintain a tidy, organized station, and wrap up the shift by confirming that everything complies with our quality standards.
4:30 PM — You finish the day knowing each assembly sent onward meets our bar for quality and safety.
Your Impact
- Connect cable assemblies to test equipment to verify function and continuity
- Carry out basic testing and inspection to confirm product quality
- Assist with cable assembly and perform minor repairs when needed
- Troubleshoot and help resolve cable-related production issues
- Accurately document test outcomes using computer-based systems
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Keep your work area clean, orderly, and inspection-ready
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with wires/cables (assembly, testing, inspection, crimping, etc.)
- Comfort with detailed, repetitive tasks that require consistency
- Basic computer skills for data entry and test documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn cable assembly processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Role Basics
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift: First Shift — 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience)
