The Opportunity
A multi-disciplinary engineering firm is looking for a CAD Coordinator to own CAD operations across civil engineering and land surveying projects. You'll shape internal standards, mentor technical staff, and contribute directly to infrastructure project delivery. Your Day-to-Day
- Lead all aspects of CAD-driven plan preparation and production for civil and survey projects
- Maintain, refine, and expand internal CAD standards to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and implement CAD software policies, procedures, and best practices
- Manage and update AutoCAD styles, templates, and databases
- Review base models, surfaces, and drawings, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on software support to project teams
- Train and mentor staff on CAD tools and workflows to elevate technical proficiency across the organization
- Coordinate with external CAD consultants to ensure alignment with internal standards
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure precision, consistency, and compliance across all deliverables
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of professional experience in Civil or Survey disciplines
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, Cyclone, or Revit is a strong plus
- Degree or technical school education in a Civil/Survey-related field preferred
- Highly organized and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Motivated to adopt new technologies and drive continuous improvement
