Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a “CAD Designer / Drafter” based out of Milpitas, CA.
Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Rate: $35-$37/hr on W2

Summary:
In this role, you will support engineering teams in creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD drafting experience, a solid understanding of engineering standards, and the ability to support product design changes throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
Develop drawings from engineering sketches, layouts, and design notes.
Review and verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with drafting standards.
Support engineering change processes, including ECN/ECR documentation updates.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and design intent are properly documented.
Required Qualifications
4–6+ years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience.
Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Experience creating and revising detailed engineering drawings.
Knowledge of engineering documentation, revision control, and change management processes (ECN/ECR).
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environments would be a plus
