Expertly manage multiple design projects simultaneously using CAD software to produce plumbing and mechanical designs based on client and company specifications
Consistently create pre-fab drawings and state, permit, and construction documents according to set timelines and expectations
Project Design (30%)
Accurately evaluate engineer drawings to identify opportunities to create a more efficient, cost-effective, code compliant design
Precisely calculate detailed heat loads, ductwork sizes, piping, and plumbing sizes for each design
Comprehensively create material lists of all necessary materials for each design
Methodically generate fixture and equipment schedules to ensure each project is completed on deadline
Consistently model plumbing & ductwork per code and RTM standard practices
Information Gathering (15%)
Carefully review and understand structural documents associated with each design and correctly interpret plumbing and HVAC code requirements to ensure designs are code compliant
Thoroughly understand submittal packages and utilize in design decisions
Attend and hold meetings as necessary to understand scope of project
Communication (15%)
Clearly communicate with other trades, architects, general contractors, field engineers, project managers, field staff, and relevant internal departments such as estimating, to ensure applicable information is captured and all individuals are kept abreast of project progress
Diligently gather and apply multiple perspectives on design options and ask appropriate questions of each party to determine scope of project work
Correctly use project management software to coordinate with internal team

Must be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds
No overnight travel required; some local travel required
