Visions Staffing Solutions has partnered with one of the nation’s leading independent warehouse storage solutions companies to find an experienced CAD Drafter to join their engineering team in Norwalk, CA. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a premier industry leader that operates multiple locations across several states, specializing in providing innovative and cost-effective industrial storage solutions.
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating conceptual and installation drawings for clients.
Create and alter conceptual and installation drawings in a timely manner.
Collaborate with project managers, salespersons, clients, and contractors to establish project requirements.
Change and update designs as requested by clients.
Effectively communicate project status to management.
Travel to job sites to take building and as-built measurements.
Education: Associate's degree in a related discipline (Drafting, Architecture, etc.) preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong computer skills with a deep understanding of CAD standards, project setup, and design execution.
Attributes: Analytical, creative, out-of-the-box problem solver with a positive attitude.
Plusses: Familiarity with racking systems or warehousing materials is a major plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
