Job Title: CAD Drafter
Job Description
This is a full-time, in-office position focused on creating technical 2D drawings. The ideal candidate will have formal training and work experience in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Priority will be given to candidates with professional drafting experience in Architectural, Structural, or Fabrication disciplines. Open to entry level candidates as well with an Associates or Bachelors degree.
Responsibilities
+ Create technical 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
+ Collaborate with the drafting team to ensure accuracy and consistency in all drawings.
+ Adopt and implement company-specific systems and processes efficiently.
+ Contribute to the company's growth by being a key individual in facilitating expansion.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
+ Experience in Architectural, Structural, or Fabrication drafting.
+ Ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems and processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in construction or hands-on mechanical experience.
+ Associate's degree or equivalent training in a related field.
+ Open to candidates with a few years of experience or recent graduates.
+ Preference for candidates based in WA or nearby locations.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of an office located in Camas, with a factory near downtown Vancouver. The team includes five drafters who report directly to the owner, with a Lead Drafter overseeing the team's operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
