EGS is seeking an experienced CAD Electrical Designer to support our client located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This is a long term (3-4 years) contract position that comes with top competitive rates, great benefits and government Per Diem for living expenses for those that qualify.

Responsibilities:
The CAD Electrical Designer will prepare Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) design drawings to support complex facility equipment and system integrations.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Electrical software to prepare drawings to project specifications.
- Coordinates work with that of others in discipline groups and other discipline groups on the project.
- Prepares complete information for design details that can be distributed to other design or draft personnel for completion.
- Understands project scope as presented within a specific discipline.
- Ensure that designs are consistent with project technical requirements and scope.
- Works to project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures.
- Produce electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layout drawings.
Basic Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience working with AutoCAD Electrical software is required.
- Demonstrated experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening examination.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Nuclear or DOE (Department of Energy) experience
Location/Work Arrangement:
- This position is located on site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
- Schedule is full time, Monday-Friday, 40 hour week.
