This role supports rail‑transit design and construction projects by working closely with engineers and project managers to translate technical specifications into accurate, industry‑compliant documentation. This position involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure design integrity and implementation accuracy.Primary/Essential Responsibilities and DutiesCreate and revise design drawings and 3D models for rail‑transit infrastructure projectsLearn to translate engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into detailed technical documentsWork with senior engineers and project managers to ensure all drawings and models meet applicable industry standards, codes, and regulationsSupport field surveys and site visitsMaintain organized digital drawing files, records, and supporting documentationRequired Skills and QualificationsRecent college graduate seeking professional work experienceCoursework, training or certification in CAD/Drafting (or equivalent experience/education)Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStationFamiliar with project management and design workflow tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or ProcoreStrong analytical skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a teamHighly organized with strong time management capabilitiesPrevious construction or field experience is helpful but not required.
