    About the Role

    This is a full-time, on-site position supporting a leading aerospace manufacturing facility in Connecticut. Occasional off-hours or weekend work may be required based on project schedules. No travel is required.

    As a CBRE CAD Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the site's Facilities drawings, including site, architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and hoist plans. You will also develop new drawings as needed to support CBRE Project Management, Engineering, and Facilities Maintenance teams in support of construction and maintenance activities.

    A key responsibility of this role is the development and ongoing management of the CAD drawing filing system, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with established CAD standards across all documentation.

    Additionally, this position will lead the review, research, organization, and digitization of historical site drawings, preparing them for structured use and long-term access within the client's SharePoint environment.

    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    What you'll need

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

    • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.

    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
