We take pride in being a “one‑stop‑shop” for all our customers' information technology needs.We are expanding our footprint across North America and look forward to starting many new projects in the next few months.The OpportunityThe CAD/Mobile X Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, configuration, and maintenance of CAD and Mobile X systems supporting public safety operations. This role serves as the primary technical resource for system performance, user support, troubleshooting, upgrades, integrations, and operational enhancements while ensuring reliable 24/7 service delivery.This is a short‑term contract with the opportunity for extension, and requires your physical presence in Chicago, IL. This contract is anticipated to begin in July 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain CAD and Mobile X systems, including user access, security, and system configurations.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application, connectivity, and operational issues.Support software upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.Configure workflows, response plans, status codes, and operational settings.Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, dispatch personnel, and public safety stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements.Support integrations with RMS, GIS, AVL, telephony, and other public safety systems.Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.Provide user training and technical support for dispatch and field personnel.Ensure compliance with CJIS and organizational security requirements.Participate in on‑call support and incident response activities as required.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience supporting CAD, Mobile X, RMS, or related public safety systems.Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and supporting mission‑critical environments.Familiarity with public safety operations, dispatch workflows, and emergency communications.Knowledge of system integrations, SQL reporting, and mobile technologies.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.It'dbe even better if you hadExperience with Mobile X, Central Square, Motorola, Hexagon, or similar public safety platforms.Knowledge of GIS, AVL, and public safety system integrations.CJIS certification or ability to obtain certification.Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and vendor coordination.What Makes You SuccessfulStrong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.Customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to support client and project needs.Professional, diplomatic, and able to navigate complex stakeholder environments with discretion and tact.Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.Adaptable and comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Collaborative team player who is always willing to contribute and help move projects forward.Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive operational and business information.Work LocationOn‑site position at the client's location in Chicago, IL.Occasional after‑hours support may be required to support reporting deployments, upgrades, or operational needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
