EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. rn
• BA degree or equivalent experience preferred. rn
• 2 years technical training or equivalent experience. rn
• At least 6 years CAD design experience with 3D modeling. rn
• Experience in formal presentations, meeting leadership, managing conflict, planning and organizing, and developing others. rn
• DoD experience preferred. rn

• Office environment. rn
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. rn
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones). rn

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

To provide support to the CAD Manager on personnel matters and to assist with management and direction of the assigned CAD staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assists in directing the efforts of the CAD staff including supervision of staff and associated personnel actions. rn
• Assists in assigning CAD staff to jobs and assists in scheduling. Monitors job schedules and budgets. rn
• Participates in review/completion process of Cost Schedule Impact Logs (CSIL's) and Request for Engineering Actions (REA's) as necessary. rn
• Assists in providing technical support to CAD staff. rn
• Assists in developing and maintaining departmental procedures. rn
• Assists in ensuring adequate training for personnel. rn
• Performs duties of CAD Designer and Operator as necessary. rn
• Attends job interviews and participates in hiring decisions. rn
• Supports CAD Manager in other department duties as necessary. rn
