CAD Technician

Austin Construction Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our growing team in Tampa, Florida. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in commercial construction drafting and design support using AutoCAD and Revit.
Position Responsibilities
- Create and revise commercial construction drawings including:
- Floor plans
- Building elevations
- Sections
- Construction details
- Assist with development of permit and construction document sets
- Maintain drawing standards and organization of project files
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
- Support ongoing commercial building projects from concept through construction
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience using:
- Understanding of overall building construction and commercial building systems
- Ability to interpret architectural and construction documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices preferred
