The CADD Designer will be responsible for a variety of projects including, but not limited to, working in collaboration with other Rausch Coleman Homes Team Members to help achieve the highest level of performance. The Designer will evaluate construction drawings, plats, and other documentation to prepare:Accurate lot matrices (verification homes will fit on specific lots)Plot plansGrading plan design and plan preparationOther expectations:Understand basics of surveying principles such as points (P, N, E, Z, D) and recreating boundary descriptions using bearing and distanceUnderstanding of features that make up a residential plat such as legal descriptions, easements, & setbacksRecommend ways of making plan delivery more effectiveEstablishing standardized drafting proceduresAssessing the effectiveness of CADD standards and drawing practicesDuties and Responsibilities:Establish and maintain CADD standards, template files, supporting documentation, and plan library in paper and/or electronic form as appropriateDevelop standard design details in coordination with senior managementDevelop methods of data collection from other Rausch Coleman Homes Team Members to allow plans and process to conform to multiple locationsWork with other Rausch Coleman Homes Team Members to advance the product development processEnsure design program compliance throughout the design-development processEvaluate methods to deliver highly accurate plans to field personnelEvaluate the impact of design and drawing changes, including easements, at any scaleRequirements Required Qualifications:Position will office at the Rausch Coleman Homes Home Office in Fayetteville, ArkansasProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D modeling and Adobe requiredAbility to multi-task, meet time lines, and manage changing prioritiesAbility to anticipate job requirements and the initiative to act accordinglyAbility to breakdown construction operations into logical sequence of activitiesPossess strong mathematical and computer skills.
