Duration: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension (Could extend up to 24 months)

Job Responsibilities:
  • This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed Client's Robotics floor layouts in AutoCAD across Concept, Firm, and Deployment design phases.
  • Work will require a high level of precision — ensuring proper cell grid alignment, component spacing, resolution of physical interferences (columns, HVAC, expansion joints, fire shutters), and compliance with design checklists and Solutions naming conventions. The role also involves generating deployment deliverables.
  • A successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction, interpret building shell composites and external references, and produce standardized drawing sets that support the global network of robotic sortable fulfilment centres.
 Nice to Have Skills:
  • Program experience C++
  • Good communication
  • BS engineering Ideal (Industrial and Mechanical)
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree OR Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design (CAD)
  • Ability to communicate to various audiences
  • Ability to lead small groups
 Must Have Skills:
  • 2 years of AutoCAD
  • MS Excel (Must have Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Calculations cell by cell type of work
 Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years operating experience in AutoCAD with ability to work and manage layers
  • Minimum of 1 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment or anything with process flow design
  • Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Conveyor design and layout experience
  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree
  • Ability to communicate to various audiences
  • Ability to lead small groups
